Feelings about Bokashi bucket

Has anyone else heard of or used a bokashi bucket?

They seem really expensive, but seems like a good tool. I'd consider making one with the things around my house first. A penny for your thoughts?

Aha, googled it and it seems like a smart little kontraption! Making compost juice and compost in a small unit indoors. I might try and build one...

Yeah, basically a compost juicer. The general idea of it is to get the most out of your kitchen scraps since you're getting "compost tea" and then regular compost after that. I was mostly enticed by the fact that it doesn't smell. Although you'd have to buy the bokashi mix (which I'm not too keen about).

I ask mostly because I'm trying to decide between a worm bin and this.
